Our son has been working with Mrs. Peres for the last two years with weekly tutoring. Mrs. Peres has been a steady source of academic help to our son and family. She’s helped in a number of subjects including math, reading, writing, science and social studies. With her help, he has gained practice and improved his study habits. One of the things that is special about her is her ability to build connection with our son. As one would imagine, most boys would dread weekly tutoring but with Mrs. Peres, our son recognizes her help, patience and kindness. We saw this also with a friend who also tutored on the same day as our son – it was wonderful to see both boys engaging with her in a positive way week after week. While she is able to tutor in all subjects, she has a special talent in making math fun. She has creative ways including math games that our son would look forward to. We would highly recommend Mrs. Peres to any family that needs a reliable and experienced tutor to help their family.
