Deborah has tutored my daughter for about three years starting in middle school. Deborah is very good at explaining math in multiple ways. She is caring, patient and so knowledgeable about math and children. Deborah has gone the extra mile to strengthen my daughter’s math skills. I recommend her highly.

Working with you this past year has really given S more confidence and, dare I say, I think she is warming up to math, however slowly.  It has been an enormous relief to me that she is getting support that works for her.  I can’t thank you enough.

Our son has been working with Mrs. Peres for the last two years with weekly tutoring. Mrs. Peres has been a steady source of academic help to our son and family. She’s helped in a number of subjects including math, reading, writing, science and social studies. With her help, he has gained practice and improved his study habits. One of the things that is special about her is her ability to build connection with our son. As one would imagine, most boys would dread weekly tutoring but with Mrs. Peres, our son recognizes her help, patience and kindness. We saw this also with a friend who also tutored on the same day as our son – it was wonderful to see both boys engaging with her in a positive way week after week. While she is able to tutor in all subjects, she has a special talent in making math fun. She has creative ways including math games that our son would look forward to. We would highly recommend Mrs. Peres to any family that needs a reliable and experienced tutor to help their family.

Ms. Deborah has been teaching our son for almost three years, since 4^th grade.  He is in the gifted program, but we wanted additional math enrichment and acceleration with Singapore Math and AMC 8.  He is now in 6th grade learning Algebra a year ahead of the gifted program. He continues to work with Ms. Deborah.  

Deborah gave our daughter immediate help on her pre-algebra problems, her approach is gentle, kind and non-threatening. Our daughter felt comfortable with her first experience with a tutor. Thank you!
