Adding and Subtracting
- You can help your child use counters – coins, buttons, paperclips… – to solve problems on a 10-frame. This link is for a (somewhat clunky) online version. You can also print your own in portrait or landscape. Or draw your own 5-frame to get started.

SAT/ACT Prep
- Here is what the College Board has to offer on practicing for the SAT: https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/sat/practice. You can now take practice tests on the Bluebook App; you need to be familiar with this before taking the online test. Khan Academy also has SAT practice, and you can still find paper tests at paper practice tests. Once you have taken a practice test, I can help you with the questions and material that you find difficult.
There are many factors to consider before investing time (and money) to prepare for the SAT or ACT. In general, it’s safe to say that doing well in your high school classes is more important than preparing for these tests. I’m happy to help you weigh the consideration before you begin test tutoring.
